Job Summary
Operate a forklift to transport materials, products, containers, and tooling; deliver raw materials and remove finished products from production equipment; move containers and staging materials; retrieve and deliver press tools; use tablets/scanners to manage material requests and track inventory; weigh and count materials; safely dispose of scrap materials; maintain forklift batteries; participate in pay-for-performance increases and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of forklift or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable using digital dispatch or tracking systems (tablet-based tools)
- Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize based on production demands
- Attention to detail when moving, staging, and tracking materials
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification through Clow
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Physical Requirements: sit for extended periods; lift up to 100 lbs; frequent bending/reaching/movement
- PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
