Job Summary
Ensure all materials are transported and unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Operate a Class 2 forklift to perform P2 hand stuffing duties, standing 8-10 hours on hard floors and performing repetitive motions in a cold, damp environment with slippery surfaces. Complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across management levels. This internal transfer role requires current facility status for 90 days, no recent suspensions or excessive warnings, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and writing
- Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork
- Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required
- Must be willing and able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
- Must be willing and able to perform repetitive motions as required
- Must be willing and able to work in a cold, damp environment
- Must be willing and able to work on slippery walking surfaces
- Must be in current position for 90 days
- Must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year
- Must not have four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application
