Job Summary
Move sorted pallet stacks to staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment while adhering to strict safety procedures. Hand-sort wooden pallets and repair damaged ones using a nail gun when required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the facility. This role supports production requirements and loading/unloading customer trailers at our Rialto warehouse. You will work the 1st shift from Monday to Sunday, 6am to 2:30pm, with a willingness to work overtime. Forklift certification and 1-3 years of experience are preferred, though a high school diploma is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
- May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
- 1er shift: Monday - Sunday 6am to 2:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification preferred
- 1-3 years of forklift experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
