Job Summary
Move sorted pallet stacks to staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment while adhering to strict safety procedures. Hand-sort wooden pallets and repair damaged units with a nail gun when required to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Operate in a labor-intensive setting involving lifting items weighing 50 to 75 lbs, with mandatory PPE including eye and ear protection. This role supports production and logistics operations at Relogistics, the largest pallet management services company in North America. Forklift certification and 1-3 years of experience are preferred, with a starting pay of $17.00-$18.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
- May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
- Forklift certification preferred
- 1-3 years of forklift experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
