Job Summary
Pull and prepare orders for shipment based on pick tickets or electronic order systems while operating forklifts to retrieve and move inventory. Verify order accuracy by checking part numbers, quantities, and labels, then stage completed orders and load/unload trucks as needed. Maintain inventory accuracy, keep work areas clean, and perform daily equipment inspections. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. This 2nd shift role requires valid forklift certification and at least one year of recent forklift experience. Pay is $18.00 per hour for Monday-Friday coverage in North Houston.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- At least 1 year of recent forklift experience
- Experience in order pulling, picking, or shipping in a warehouse setting
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and inventory labels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer or RF scanner skills
