Job Summary
Check forklift safety precautions before operating and move materials to designated warehouse locations. Accurately use RF scanners to remove or place merchandise, perform receiving, picking, replenishment, and staging, and pull production orders ensuring correct SKU, description, and quantity. Maintain inventory control, stock rotation, and work area cleanliness while completing all required records and reports. Operate powered industrial trucks safely and comply with OSHA rules and regulations. Work Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Clean/safe driving record
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and procedural written instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide so that accurate logs may be maintained
- Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors and coworkers
- Ability to pass the OSHA required training and testing for powered industrial trucks
- Ability to safely operate a power industrial truck, as outlined in the OSHA requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and/or climb in and out of Powered Industrial Trucks for prolonged periods, 8 or more hours
- Ability to use a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner daily, 8 or more hours
- Ability to use hands to pick up objects and operate tools or controls and reach with hands
- Ability to bend or stoop at knees or waist; twist at waist to retrieve item
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to pass a physical given by the Company health provider on as needed basis
