Job Summary
Verify inbound product accuracy, quality, and labeling against purchase orders while completing all receiving paperwork per SOPs. Safely operate a stand-up forklift to load, unload, stage, store, and replenish inventory across dry, cooler, and freezer environments. Transport materials to pick slots and maintain cleanliness through spill cleanup and housekeeping. Identify and manage products failing food safety or shelf-life standards. Read, write, and communicate effectively for operational needs while maintaining consistent accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for safety, documentation, and operational needs
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to safely work in fluctuating temperature environments: Dry, Cooler (approx. 32°F), and Freezer (down to -6°F)
- Ability to work in moderate to high noise environments
- Ability to safely operate industrial material handling equipment
- Ability to successfully complete forklift certification
- Prior experience operating a stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack
- Previous warehouse experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Foodservice industry experience preferred
