Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions including forklift operation, loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting. Responsibilities include accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks; processing day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading); providing technical/maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours; and adhering to GMP requirements where applicable. Must work as part of a team, maintain high accuracy under pressure, and have strong communication skills. Shift is night, Tue–Fri 5:00 pm–3:30 am, in Caledon, ON with a wage of $21.00/hour plus $1.00 night shift premium. The role requires punctuality, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; some locations may require an MVR check for vehicle operation and a valid forklift license. Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License
- Safety Sensitive Non-Regulated Tech
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
