Job Summary
Stock and unload workstations, empty dumpsters at shift end, and load outbound trailers while documenting trailer numbers, carriers, and pallet counts. Perform pre-operational forklift checks, maintain proper PPE, and ensure quality standards by identifying and reporting issues to the supervisor. Manage material flow from machines to work-in-process areas, supply products to staging, and document requests for repairs. Maintain a clean tow motor, park immediately if safety hazards occur, and assist with general housekeeping. Operate the forklift safely in support of production, ensuring adequate certification scores.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to manage time to ensure material flow stays consistent within assigned production
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to produce adequate scoring on forklift operation certification

- Must be available for 1st Shift hours: Mon-TH 6:30 A.M.-4 P.M. and Fri- 6:30-10:30 A.M.
