Job Summary
Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. Maintain records and adhere to clearly defined SOPs, quality guidelines, and scientific methods while performing routine tasks under general to limited supervision. Requires a high school diploma, zero to one year of warehouse experience, and appropriate licenses or training in material handling and management. This 12-month contract role is based in Covington, GA, with a 40-hour workweek from 10:30 am to 7 pm on the 1st shift. Pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour for US citizens or GC holders only. Candidates must be comfortable with physical demands including lifting over 50 lbs, exposure to extreme temperatures without AC or heating, and moderate to loud noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot in summer with no AC, cold in winter with limited heating)
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in high, precarious places
- Must be able to work with fumes/airborne particles
- Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise levels
- Must be able to work M-F 10:30am-7pm
- Must be able to work 1st Shift
- Must be US Citizens Or GC Holders Only
