Forklift Operator/Materials Handler

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site by reading work orders or following oral instructions. Opens containers and loads/unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting, then conveys materials to designated areas to assist production timelines. Secures lifting attachments, signals crane operators, and counts, weighs, and records units on daily production sheets. Stacks, assembles, and bands materials; lifts heavy objects by hand or power hoist. Requires current Fork Lift Certification, previous forklift experience, and a manufacturing environment background. Must pass a 7-panel drug screen.
