Job Summary
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, and stack materials within the warehouse or production facility. Load and unload trucks, transport materials to designated areas, and maintain accurate inventory records using scanning systems or manual logs. Conduct routine inspections on forklifts, assist in inventory counts, and ensure the workspace remains clean and hazard-free. Follow all safety regulations and collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification/license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving procedures
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
