Forklift Operator - Material Handler

Job Summary
Remove shipped products from delivery vehicles into designated storage areas, inventory received or shipped items against packing lists, and record discrepancies on shipping reports. Pull stored materials for orders to the shipping area and perform repetitive work loading products, parts, or material into packages, boxes, or crates. Operate a forklift for moving or stacking materials as needed, track items in containers, and review packing lists to ensure all required items are included. Perform the job duties of both the receiving and shipping departments while maintaining safety standards. This role requires forklift experience, the ability to work with RF scanning devices, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement within a fast-paced global environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 year of age
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work with RF scanning device, computer, and other electronic equipment
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
- Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hours per day
- Physically capable of completing the essential functions of the job including but not limited to pushing/pulling, climbing/balancing, stooping/bending, reaching/grasping, heavy lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow directions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- This position works onsite at our Industrial Parkway facility in Elkhart, IN
Desired Qualifications
- additional education or certifications highly preferred
- Knowledge of the D365 system and windows application preferred but not required
