Job Summary
Litehouse Foods is hiring a Material Handler II (Forklift Operator) to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), pick and stack customer orders, receive vendor shipments, and maintain accurate inventory using handheld scanners. Responsibilities include ensuring proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations, keeping work areas clean, and upholding Food Safety and Quality policies. The role requires the ability to work in a cool, refrigerated environment and to communicate effectively; shift is 2nd (2-10pm) with potential overtime and weekends. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed)
- Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
