Job Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials to storage areas, machines, and loading docks while adhering to a daily production schedule. Deliver stock safely and on time, completing forklift inspection forms before and during shifts, and turn in maintenance work orders for repairs. Maximize equipment utilization by operating machinery at available capacity and speed, while making recommendations to optimize schedules for cost, quality, and delivery goals. Complete assigned reports on production data, machine status, safety, and quality accurately and timely. Maintain confidentiality of all personally identifiable information in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience
- Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters
- Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities
- Working knowledge of layouts, production specifications and product quality specifications
- Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
- Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota
- Must be able to adhere to process protocol
- Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner
- Must regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Required to maintain a valid Forklift License
- Required to maintain a valid driver's license

- 0-2 years of corrugated packaging or general manufacturing experience
