Job Summary
Forklift Operator will operate an industrial forklift and Stand-Up Forklift to perform materials handling duties, including loading and unloading, scanning work orders, verifying quantities against the BOL, labeling pallets, and documenting damages. Responsibilities include inspecting the forklift, following safety dress code and procedures, maintaining a clean work area, using MAPICS to generate DDR IDs for damage reports, and coordinating with MAPICS for damage resolution. The role requires accuracy in equipment handling, ability to work in a high-paced environment, and adherence to safety standards; physical capability to move and lift up to a 40-pound skid or pallet. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
- Satisfactorily pass forklift and stand-up forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test
- Any additional certifications related to equipment operation or safety standards are encouraged and may be considered when evaluating qualifications and experience
