Job Summary
Forklift Operator II needed in Wilmer, TX to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts for loading/unloading pallets, picking and staging orders, and putting away pallets. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, conducting daily equipment inspections, ensuring inventory accuracy, reporting quality variances, and complying with OSHA and MSDS standards. Requires forklift experience (minimum 6 months), ability to lift 20-45 lb repeatedly, completion of forklift training, and passing a forklift skills test. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months forklift and warehouse experience
- 18 years or older
- Pass Forklift Driving Skills test
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Ability to lift cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly
- Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts
- Experience with loading/unloading pallets and moving product to storage locations using a forklift
- Experience in inventory accuracy and reporting
- Compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and code applicable documents
- High-speed manufacturing environment experience
- Maintaining neat, clean, and orderly warehouse condition
- Maintain equipment through daily inspection and routine maintenance
- Forklift driving in tight spaces without damaging product
- Team-oriented and deadline driven
- Accurate stock rotation and inventory control
