Job Summary
The Forklift Operator II role involves safely operating Powered Industrial Equipment to move, load, unload, and store products for shipping/receiving. Duties include using lift equipment (reach, slip sheet, push/pull, drive-in racking), loading/unloading, stacking and transporting materials, scanning products and printing labels, completing paperwork and inventory management tasks, ensuring product rotation and performing cycle counts, conducting daily safety inspections, and maintaining readiness for SQFI/FDA/customer requirements. The position requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and two years of forklift experience, with a licensed operator or ability to obtain one. The job supports a safety-conscious, collaborative warehouse environment with continuous improvement initiatives and equal employment opportunity practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass Background and Drug screen
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
