Job Summary
Load and unload trucks and rail cars, moving material between storage and work areas. Break and pack items to correct sizes, label them, and perform general preventive maintenance on equipment. Complete preshift startup checklists, maintain yard organization, empty trash and wood hoppers, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving records. Follow forklift rules, participate in safety and CI programs, and report equipment problems immediately. Requires 18+ years of age, Forklift Driver licensing, and 6–12 months of experience. Hourly pay $21–$23 with incentive bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 9th-grade basic education
- High school diploma
- GED
- 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a forklift or operating similar equipment
- Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques
- Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
- Must be at least 18 years of age
