Forklift Operator I, Warehouse (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Operate a forklift to transport product within the warehouse safely and efficiently, performing receiving and shipping functions as assigned. Record product transfers using the radio frequency bar coding system or Move Tickets, and conduct daily forklift inspections while documenting results on the checklist. Process inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with SOPs, and assist with daily cycle count and yearly physical inventory processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, immediately reporting unsafe conditions or accidents to management. Perform other functions and duties as assigned or necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Read, write and understand English with good oral communication skills
- Ability to function as an effective team member and work well in a moderately stressful environment
- Ability to respond effectively and positively in a rapidly changing warehouse environment
- Clean, neat, organized and alert
- Valid driver's license
- One year forklift operator and general warehousing experience
- Experience with warehousing operations as it relates to the specific functions of product movement, inventory systems, and forklift operations
- Experience with radio frequency bar code scanners
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in general warehousing
