Job Summary
Forklift Operator I at Kenco Logistics operates powered industrial equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp, picker) to move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping/receiving. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, transporting materials, scanning products and printing labels, completing paperwork and inventory-management system tasks, ensuring product rotation, performing cycle counts, daily safety inspections, maintaining SQFI/FDA-ready conditions, reporting incidents, and supporting housekeeping as needed. Requires at least two years of forklift experience and a licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain one; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Position is based in Temple, TX with on-site work and no expected travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years forklift operating experience
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass Background and Drug screen
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
