Job Summary
The Forklift Operator role at Kenco Logistics requires safe, efficient operation of powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping/receiving. Responsibilities include operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts (and related equipment like clamps or pickers), loading/unloading and transporting materials, scanning products and printing labels, completing paperwork and using inventory management systems, ensuring product rotation, performing cycle counts, daily safety inspections, maintaining inspection-readiness for SQFI/FDA/customer needs, and communicating incidents to supervisors. The role may include housekeeping and miscellaneous tasks as assigned; candidate must meet experience, licensing, and background requirements and be capable of working in a safety-focused warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass Background and Drug screen
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
