Job Summary
Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered forklift to pick up, deliver, or move materials throughout the warehouse. Load, unload, and stack materials onto lifting devices while weighing products and recording data on production schedules. Perform safety checks on lifts, inspect machinery for repairs, and push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move equipment and products. Comply with all company policies, legal guidelines, and safety activities. Follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team. Forklift certification is required upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree / GED or Work equivalent
- 0-3 years 0-1 years
- Reading and writing English
- knowledge of airport codes destinations and basic geography knowledge
- Exhibits strong typing skills/or data entry skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace, high volume environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs, customs or other business areas of logistics
- Knowledge of financial processes and rating methodology
- Specialized computer knowledge
- Forklift Certification Upon Hire
