Job Summary
Load, unload, and move all materials for plant and warehouse operations using a forklift, pallet jack, and tow motor. Check incoming product for accurate wrapping and labeling, inspect engine oil and fluid levels daily, and complete daily inspection sheets before operating equipment. Clean the forklift daily, ensuring dust is removed from the radiator, and coordinate storage with warehouse personnel. Lift boxes and materials up to 75 pounds while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Comply with all company policies, legal requirements, and safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- Goodwill Fork lift certification
- Must have the ability to lift 75 pounds
- Must have knowledge of proper methods of lifting, pushing, and pulling materials
- Must be able to read and do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and to work as a team member
- Ability to drive a fork lift safely and follow all safety regulations and policies
- Must be able to learn the techniques of the job from short demonstration up to and including one month
- Regular, reliable attendance, as defined in Goodwill's attendance policy
