Job Summary
Forklift Operator for Stockton, CA facility responsible for loading materials into designated machine centers, staging roll stock and finished products, and operating forklift and clamp forklift. Maintain forklift safety through daily inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure quality by documenting issues and contributing corrective actions. Participate in in-house quality education and adhere to company safety and handbook guidelines. Additional duties include keeping the work area organized, performing other duties as required, and collaborating with team to meet tight deadlines. Requires English proficiency and 4+ years of forklift experience; certification obtainable.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years or more of forklift and clamp forklift experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Must have good hand to eye coordination
- Must be able to sit and drive forklift for long periods
- Must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Must be willing and able to obtain forklift certification
