Job Summary
Load and unload materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Utilize manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Identify discrepancies in receiving loads against manifests, including overages, shortages, and damages. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while following detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment. Ensure all work adheres to TSA and OSHA guidelines. This 3rd shift role includes Monday through Friday from 9pm to 5:30am, Sunday from 4:00pm to midnight, with Thursday and Saturday off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material
- Experience using an RF scan gun is required
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
- Must have the ability to work well with others
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 years experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift certifications preferred
