Job Summary
Operate gas or electric forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack product for shipping, receiving, and picking. Count and inspect products, report damages or discrepancies, and comply with safety, quality, and SOP requirements. Part of the DSV team focused on performance, safety, and quality; duties include loading outbound shipments, unloading inbound shipments, and accurately picking orders per client requirements. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months in a logistics environment, and forklift certification. Shift is Thursday–Saturday with alternating Wednesday, 2:30pm–3am; base pay rate is $21.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Must be able to operate MHE
- Must have active forklift certification
