Job Summary
Operate a sit-down forklift to pull components from warehouse racks, stage them for production, and return components to warehouse racks to keep inventory accurate. Load and unload freight to and from trucks safely and on time. Conduct cycle counts and month-end inventories as requested. Check in parts and components received from suppliers. Wrap and band outgoing product for shipment. Bring pallets in from outside storage. Empty garbage bins and maintain area cleanliness and organization. Support the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, and line leaders as needed; demonstrate dependability, safety-mindedness, and strong communication on the floor.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of forklift experience
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior certification required
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Solid attendance history
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
