Job Summary
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, handling sit-down, stand-up, and clamp models while moving, stocking, and staging materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, verify load accuracy, and assist with inventory counts. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections, change batteries or LP tanks, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Pull, prepare, and stage product for shipment with proper count and labeling. Comply with all OSHA and company safety standards, interpret work instructions, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires a valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain one within 30 days, plus 2+ years of recent forklift operation experience. Flexible availability for any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certificate or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- 2+ years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 20 to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to tolerate temperature, dust, and noise variations
- Flexible availability: able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse experience
- Industrial or production environment experience
