Job Summary
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other power equipment 80% of the shift. Pull and prepare product for shipment, verify load accuracy and stability, and maintain facility equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Keep appropriate records for inventory accuracy, complete daily equipment inspections, and perform physical inventories while complying with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Operate the equipment during the 3rd shift Monday through Thursday from 10pm to 8am at DHL Supply Chain, a global logistics leader.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- Six months forklift operation experience
Desired Qualifications
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack
- A minimum of 6 month's experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehouse experience
