Job Summary
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of the specified shift. Pull and prepare product for shipment, verify load accuracy, and check stability while maintaining facility equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Keep appropriate records for inventory accuracy, perform daily equipment inspections, change batteries or LP tanks as necessary, and assist in physical inventories. Complete all duties while complying with OSHA and MSDS standards. Operate during the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with overtime available during peak season.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehouse experience
- Six months forklift operation experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating other material handling equipment
- A minimum of 6 month's experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP
