Job Summary
Move material to and from various locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklift equipment. Pack labels and palletize materials as necessary. Load and unload materials from common carriers while verifying shipping and receiving information. Record inventories as required and may dispense contract work to individual work department sites. Perform other activities as requested. This role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and the ability to lift over 50 pounds, bend, and move materials in a noisy factory environment. Basic English communication skills and ability to perform basic calculations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to perform basic calculations
- Sufficient primary education to understand and follow standard practices and instructions
- Minimum of one year of experience in operating a forklift
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must lift over 50 pounds
