Job Summary
Forklift Operator at Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida located in Vero Beach, FL. Responsibilities include performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, communicating repairs or safety issues to management, maintaining a clean and safe forklift, performing preventive maintenance, safely transporting concrete blocks around the plant, reading tickets and pulling orders with accuracy, loading/unloading concrete blocks from flatbed trucks and conveyors, and assisting with daily housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. Requires 1 year of forklift experience; preferred experience with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) and strong communication skills; schedule is Monday–Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- preferred experience operating a truck-mounted forklift (ex. Moffet)
- preferred ability to communicate effectively
- Required availability: Monday – Saturday
