Job Summary
Operate forklift equipment in an 18+ acre outdoor/indoor manufacturing environment, including stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and an extended boom arm forklift; organize product on the yard per inventory procedures; safely load/unload onto flatbeds and box trailers; audit and interpret shipping docs, weights, measures, and labels to align with production schedules. Requires at least 2 years of 5,000 lb forklift experience, high school diploma or GED, ability to work in varied weather, pass forklift certification, and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 65 lbs with potential team lifting. Ensures safe operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and supports related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties
- Ability to work in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs with team lifting when needed
