Job Summary
Utilize a manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Perform material handling duties including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and identifying overages, shortages, or damages. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while adhering to TSA and OSHA guidelines. Read detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment and ensure packaging and systems work are completed accurately. Maintain a safe and secure work environment and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires forklift certification, a high school diploma, and one year of warehouse experience. Pay is $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Forklift Certified
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience - 1 year experience
- Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material
- Experience using a RF scan gun required
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
- Must have the ability to work well with others
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience
- Previous forklift certifications preferred
