Job Summary
Operate counter balance forklifts to load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain an organized work environment. This full-time role involves Monday to Friday shifts from 3PM to 11PM at a waste recycling facility in North Richmond. Candidates must hold a valid BC Driver's License and a Counter Balance Forklift Operator License, with at least two years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- A valid BC Drivers License
- At least 2 years Experience working with a Counter Balance Forklift
- At Valid Counter Balance Forklift Operator License
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 3PM to 11PM
- Accept a starting rate of $19 per hour
- A permanent resident or citizen of Canada
- Willingness to be hired full-time and commit to full-time work
- Proven experience in operating counter balance forklifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Reliability and dependability
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
