Job Summary
Complete pre- and post-shift daily audits and maintain the forklift's safety checklist while operating equipment to build loads by assembling product into bundles. Assist with material handling to store raw materials and finished goods properly, prepare lumber for dunnage using saws and nail guns, and regularly fuel and maintain the forklift. Record production records, keep the yard area neat by organizing strapping and boards, and ensure the vehicle is parked in designated areas at day's end. This role supports infrastructure projects including drainage systems, pipes, and bridges within a team environment at our Hillsboro, OR plant.
Required Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing, production, or distribution experience
- Ability to operate forklift in accordance with required guidelines
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG welding
- Ability to work with precision instruments
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Great work ethic and impeccable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Certification on Forklift Operation
- Technical training or welding experience
