Job Summary
The Forklift Operator will perform various functions in the warehouse including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock. Responsibilities include selecting customer orders, operating an industrial forklift safely, utilizing an on-board computer and wireless systems, and maintaining a clean work environment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in powered industrial vehicle operation, be capable of lifting heavy objects, and possess prior equipment operation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency on all powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects (40-50 lbs.)
- Understanding of written English without translation software
- Previous equipment operation experience
- Obtain necessary OSHA certifications upon hire
- Dependability and team player attitude
- Strong attention to detail
