Job Summary
Operate and safely manage forklift operations in a Biagi Bros facility, including unloading, stacking, picking, and processing outbound orders. Perform daily safety checks, assist with inventory counts and cycle counts, maintain food-grade housekeeping, verify order accuracy, load shipments according to diagrams and trailer limits, change forklift batteries or propane tanks as needed, attend safety meetings, and support related projects such as beer, glass, and wine repack. Maintain awareness of surroundings, follow procedures, and collaborate with drivers, accounts, and management to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of forklift experience in warehouse environment
- Experience with inventory control and cycle counts
- 2-5 years warehouse/distribution experience (3PL preferred)
- Proficiency on computer, using MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required
- Effective professional written and verbal communication skills
- Active driver’s license in good standing
