Forklift Operator-B

Operate a motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, pull pallets from production lines, and place finished product in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system. Control truck movement using levers and pedals, raise and lower lifting devices to unload and stack material, and plan supply requirements by studying production schedules. Retrieve supplies by studying specifications, locate and verify materials, secure pallets on trucks, and move them to production locations. Maintain inventory by anticipating usage, reporting discrepancies, and clearing the production area by securing and moving finished or empty pallets. Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods while maintaining a safe work environment by following standards and procedures. Keep the forklift operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
