Job Summary
Load and unload materials using hand trucks, reach trucks, or forklifts while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Utilize manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in truck loading and unloading. Perform material handling duties such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products to ensure timeliness and accuracy. Identify discrepancies in receiving loads against manifests, including overages, shortages, and damages. Safely operate warehouse equipment and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced setting while adhering to TSA and OSHA guidelines. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Previous forklift experience and RF scan gun proficiency are required, with certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Experience using an RF scan gun
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Occasional weekends
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
- Must have the ability to work well with others
- High attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to use pallet jacks and forklifts
