Job Summary
Forklift Operator needed at our Clayton, IN facility. Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts (including order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and lift trucks), adhering to OSHA safety guidelines, loading/unloading materials, moving products to designated areas, performing equipment inspections, and collaborating with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient operations. Must have proven forklift experience in a distribution/warehouse setting and be able to operate all four specified forklift types. Strong math and inventory skills are required; overtime shifts may apply. Two shifts (1st and 2nd) with stated hours and pay rates.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Experience operating ALL FOUR forklifts: Stand-Up Reach, Walkie Rider, Dock Stocker, and Order Picker
- Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate Crown Equipment forklifts (High Reach, Walkie Rider, Dock Stocker, Order Picker)
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods
