Job Summary
Operate reach forklifts and perform palletizing, stacking, and breaking down pallets while adhering to standard operating procedures and quality guidelines. Work under general supervision to execute routine material handling tasks in a metrics-driven environment. Requires proven experience with reach forklifts, one year of warehouse experience, and ability to lift over 50 lbs. Schedule includes Monday through Thursday nights from 10:00 pm to 8:30 am with availability for daily overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must have proven experience on reach forklifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Candidate needs to be available to work daily OT as required
- Candidate needs to be available to work Monday night to Thursday night 10:00pm – 8:30am
- Candidate needs to be available to work Monday night to Thursday night 8:00pm – 8:30am
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to work in high, precarious places
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work with vibration
- Must be able to work with fumes/airborne particles
- Must be able to work in hot conditions (no AC)
- Must be able to work in cold conditions (limited heating)
- Must be able to work in a moderate to loud noise level
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, lift, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, twist, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type
