Job Summary
Forklift Operator on 2nd shift responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise. Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, stacking and storing merchandise, ensuring accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments, performing picking duties, using RF equipment for picking/receiving/putaway/load functions, maintaining neat and safe work areas, conducting routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, and ensuring inventory control through proper paperwork and records. Requires 1-2 years forklift experience, High School Diploma or GED, and adherence to OSHA/MSDS safety standards. Schedule typically 1:00 PM–9:00 PM with 8+ hours per day, five days/week; health insurance, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and other benefits described by employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- One (1) to two (2) years previous forklift experience
- Ability to read and understand English
- Strong safety and OSHA/MSDS awareness
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and time management
