Job Summary
Conduct daily forklift inspections and manage the unloading and staging of raw materials and finished goods within the Henning, Illinois warehouse. Prepare production runs by retrieving raw materials through the bar-coding system and creating accurate pallet tags, while confirming shipment staging, bill accuracy, and correct lot codes. Maintain a clean work area to comply with food safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements. Work a Monday through Friday schedule on the 5:00 PM to 5:15 AM shift, supporting production demands through overtime when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to fulfill production demand
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Work a Monday through Friday schedule on the 5:00 PM to 5:15 AM shift
- Support production demands through overtime when required
- Maintain a clean work area to comply with food safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements
- Being on your feet
- Walking around the facility
- Climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience preferred
