Job Summary
Operate forklifts to safely move, load, unload, and stage solar panels and related materials within warehouse and shipping areas. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and inspecting products for accuracy. Conduct daily forklift inspections, report maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate inventory records using scanning systems. Organize materials in designated locations, keep work areas clean, and follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift. This role requires forklift certification and experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must Have Forklift Certification
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections
- Reading pick tickets, shipping documents, or inventory labels
- Stacking and storing materials accurately
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in warehouse, manufacturing, or outdoor environments
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Wear required PPE (safety shoes, vest, gloves, etc.)
- Report equipment issues immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
