Job Summary
Operate forklifts to safely move, load, unload, and stage solar panels and related materials within warehouse and shipping areas. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and inspecting products for accuracy. Organize inventory and store materials in designated locations to maintain efficient workflow. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse documentation and scanning systems. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while collaborating with logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime when needed. Forklift certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift Certification
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections
- Reading pick tickets, shipping documents, or inventory labels
- Stacking and storing materials accurately
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in warehouse, manufacturing, or outdoor environments
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Wear required PPE (safety shoes, vest, gloves, etc.)
- Report equipment issues immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
