Job Summary
Forklift Operator I is responsible for moving material between inventory, production, and finished goods, maintaining production paperwork and records, preparing materials for production, and organizing the inventory yard. The role includes operating a forklift to move, band, wrap, pack, and label materials, assisting with bottlenecks and material needs, performing basic preventive maintenance on equipment, completing pre-shift startup checklists, ensuring safety and clean inventory areas, and participating in safety and CI programs. The position requires at least a high school level education, the forklift licensing process, and being at least 18 years old; forklift experience and basic math/inventory knowledge are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 9th grade basic education
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Forklift Driver licensing process
