Job Summary
Operate forklifts to transport materials to and from storage areas, work stations, and other assignment zones. Load, transport, unload, and stack materials according to established procedures while maintaining up-to-date forklift certification. Communicate non-compliance and quality problems to supervisors or shift leads. Clean and maintain housekeeping of finished goods storage areas. Ensure material movement adheres to production standards and safety rules, including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. Maintain production flow and daily goals through efficient, safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use tape measures, micrometers and calipers
- Ability to comply with safety rules and requirements
- Ability to pass and maintain forklift licenses
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
