Job Summary
Operate forklift to transport materials to and from storage areas, work stations, and within other areas of assignment. Load, transport, unload, and stack materials in accordance with established procedures. Maintain up-to-date forklift certification and communicate non-compliance or quality problems to supervisors. Clean and maintain housekeeping of finished goods storage areas. Ensure material movement meets production standards while prioritizing safety and daily goals. Maintain ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and pass forklift licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use tape measures, micrometers and calipers
- Ability to comply with safety rules and requirements
- Ability to pass and maintain forklift licenses
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
